PESHAWAR: On the request of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the Governor on Friday withdrawn orders of provincial assembly session on June 6.
A notification said issued here by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.
The session was earlier summoned to present financial budget for the year 2016-17 and likely to be delayed for a week or more, as the KP government had yet to finalise the budget, officials sources in KP government told APP.
Earlier, KP Minister for Finance Muzaffar Said told media that the budget session on June, 6 had deliberately been requested to cancel as the KP government intended to wait for the federal and those of Sindh and Punjab budgets.
He said the date for budget session would be announced in next week.
