LAHORE: The traders and business community Tuesday hailed Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for clearing his family's position regarding Panama leaks allegation before the nation in his televised address.
Talking to APP here, the businessmen said that the Prime Minister rejected every point/allegation regarding Sharif family's businesses.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took a very wise decision of making everything crystal clear to the nation instead of keeping it in the darkness, they added.
The businessmen also welcomed the Prime Minister's announcement of formation of a judicial commission to probe these allegations.
The Punjab PML-N Traders Wing Senior Vice President Khawaja Khawar Rasheed was of the view that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was the first Prime Minister and national leader in the history of Pakistan, who with open heart took a very bold stance in this regard.
He said that in the past, Sharif Family had also been faced such kinds of allegations, which proved baseless and false, and this time, Sharif Family would succeed to prove itself innocent.
The PML-N leadership, he added, had always maintained a clear divide between politics and their personal/family business.
