QUETTA: Provincial Election Commission Balochistan has announced that local government elections for Member District Council Ziarat from Ward No. 5, Wayala Aghbarg Ziarat would be held on February 25.
In a statement issued, here on Tuesday, Provincial Election Commissioner, Syed Sultan Bayazeed said that arrangements have been finalized for holding of local government elections in Ward No. 5, Wayala Aghbarg, Ziarat for the seat of member of district council Ziarat.
"Earlier, LG elections were held in Ward No. 5, Wayala Aghbarg in 2013 which later, were set aside by the Election Tribunal," the statement said. He said that on the directives of the Balochistan High Court, now LG elections would be held in this area on February 25.
