imageISLAMABAD: As the winter season is touching its peak, people of different areas of the federal capital, especially residents of the sectors F-6/1, G-7 face low gas pressure.

The residents of F and G sectors have expressed grievances regarding unavailability of gas or its extremely low pressure in their areas in this cold weather.

Asma Jahngir a resident of F-6/1 sector while talking to APP said that she got registered his complaint about gas pressure with the company's helpline but so far no official visited his house to rectify the fault.

She said the problem starts from 6am to 11am and in the evening from 6pm to 11pm due to which working class and students are facing problems in reaching their offices and schools in time.

The households are unable to cook meal and they have to adjust cooking timings.

The citizens have demanded the authorities concerned to take immediate steps for regularising the gas supply to their areas.

An official of SNGPL said the problem was due to the difference in demand and supply. He said SNGPL teams would check the problems of affected areas and would soon resolve the issues.
