imageJHANG: Over 90 percent work on computerization of land record has been completed in the district and 200 people are getting services of the centre daily.

This was stated by Ashaar Hamid Sial, Incharge Land Management Centre while talking to the media here Saturday. He said that land record computerization centres had been set up in all 143 tehsil headquarters of the province.

He said the record of 24,000 mauzas and 5.5 crore land owners had been computerized in 16 districts which include: Jhang, Lodhran, Hafizabad, Nankana Sahib, Mandi Bahauddin, Jehlum, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Okara, Narowal, Chakwal, Toba Tek Singh, Rahim Yar Khan, Attock, Sargodha and Bahawalpur.

He said that proper land was being acquired in Jhang district for computrised land record centres.
