ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister's Focal Person on Polio Eradication Ayesha Raza Farooq has said that eighty percent polio cases in Pakistan belong to inaccessible areas in FATA.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, she said operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan provides a golden opportunity to reach out to children who yet have to be immunized.
She said besides reaching out every child, the government also has to ensure security of frontline polio workers.
She said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has already constituted Cabinet Committee on Immunization to ensure access of polio workers to every child in security compromised areas.
