LARKANA: Third death anniversary of Madar-e-Jamhooriat Late Begum Nusrat Bhutto was observed here on Thursday with renewed commitment to continue struggle for protecting democracy.
Qura'an Khawani and fateha khawani were held in every corner of the country on the occasion besides at Garhi Khuda Bux.
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, MNA Faryal Talpur, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, Senior Minister for Education & Literacy Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, MNAs and MPAs and other party leaders and workers attended the function.
Ms. Sanam Bhutto younger sister of Benazir Bhutto also participated in the Quran Khawani and Fateha Khawani. Meanwhile, the leaders and workers of PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) also offered fateha and laid floral wreaths on the grave of Begum Nusrat Bhutto.
