ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan will host 26th SAARCFINANCE Group Meeting, 9th SAARC Finance Governors' Symposium and 42nd Asian Clearing Union (ACU) Board of Directors Meeting here on June 18-19.
Governors of the Central Banks and senior government officials from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan India, Iran, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, and Sri Lanka will participate, says a statement issued by the SBP issued here today.
The State Bank will also organize its most prestigious annual event, Zahid Husain Memorial lecture here on June, 18, where prof. Ha-Joon Chang from Cambridge University will deliver a lecture on "Rethinking Role of the state in Economic Development".
Pakistan will also assume the chair of ACU Board of Directors at the 42nd Meeting of the board, scheduled to be held on June 19.
