LONDON: World coffee exports totalled 9.6 million 60-kg bags in April, up around 4 percent from the same month in 2012, the International Coffee Organization said on Friday.
For the first seven months of the 2012/13 season, which began on Oct. 1, coffee exports were up by 7 percent at 65.98 million bags, ICO data showed.
Robusta coffee exports in April were 3.4 million bags, down from 3.8 million in April 2012.
Arabica coffee exports rose to 6.2 million bags from 5.4 million bags in April 2012.
