KARACHI: General Secretary of PPP Sindh, Taj Haider has said that Pakistan Peoples Party had given historic sacrifices for bringing democracy to Pakistan.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said "we have fought against the heaviest odds and excesses, but have never moved away from the electrical process".
He urged all PPP office bearers, workers and supporters to fully participate in the polling on 43 polling stations of NA-250, PS-112 and PS-113.
Boycotts of electoral process are counter productive and do not help the democratic cause, he added.
It is only through participation in elections that the excesses and crimes committed by anti-democratic elements can be removed, he said.
