KARACHI: Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachan, Vidya Balan and Jackie Shroff have reportedly decided to do something worthwhile for Sanjay Dutt while he is going through this tough phase.
The three stars will reportedly make cameo appearances in Dutt’s home production “Hasmukh Pighal Gaya” to be directed by Sejal Shah. The film also features Dutt’s niece Nazia Hussain as well as legendary filmmaker OP Ralhan’s grandson Arman.
According to Indian media sources, the whole idea behind the film is to keep Dutt’s productions operational in his absence. The choreographer Ahmed Khan also supports the actor whole-heartedly. Almost all Bollywood superstars are there to help him out including close friends Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan.
Recently, 62-year-old National Award winner Nana Patekar refused to work with Dutt or watch his movies in the future as he strongly felt that Dutt should stick to the court’s ruling and should not be granted a reprieve for his crime.
The shooting for the “Hasmukh Pighal Gaya” has already been commenced in Mumbai. Dutt is currently struggling hard to wrap his upcoming projects which include Raj Kumar Hirani’s “Peekay”, Apoorva Lakhia’s “Zanjeer”, KS Ravi Kumar’s “Police giri”, Rensil D’Silva’s “Ungli” and last but not least Jyotin Goel’s “Hum Hain Raahi Car Ke”.
The Supreme Court of India recently extended Dutt’s date of surrender by four weeks due to his professional commitments.
