ISLAMABAD: A 16-member delegation of Thailand Senate led by its President Nikom Wairatpanich on Wednesday visited Taxila Museum, Joliyan and other important places of Buddhist culture.
The delegation said that these places were precious heritage of Pakistan and by promoting tourism in the country it could make progress. Pakistan has also so many historical and religious places, he added.
Later, Senator Karim Ahmed Khawaja arranged a reception in honour of the delegation.
The delegation also visited different places of the Federal Capital, including Jinnah Super and Centaurus.
