KARACHI: Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan, who has been successfully hosting the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ for the past three seasons reportedly may not return to host this year.
According to Indian media sources, the “Dabangg” actor may have to opt out of the show due to his court appearances and regular health check-ups. His home production “Mental” has also been reportedly affected and delayed due to his hectic schedule.
However, to ensure the popularity of the show and retain viewership, the producers may reportedly approach Salman’s rival Shahrukh Khan to host the latest season.
Shahrukh Khan, who is currently busy with Rohit Shetty’s “Chennai Express” does not seem to be too satisfied with movie’s music composed by Vishal-Shekhar. He reportedly asked the director to make the necessary changes as he never compromises on his body of work.
The Bollywood Badshah had previously hosted the third season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” and was greatly successful in retaining the popularity of the show which was initially hosted by Amitabh Bachan.
We will have to wait for Big Boss 7, to see which of the Khans will return as hosts.The show is likely to go on air by the end of this year.
