Residents of Karachi protest against long power cuts

imageKARACHI: Residents of Qayoomabad area of the city staged a protest against long and unscheduled power load-shedding on Wednesday.

Violent protesters threw stones on several vehicles, blocked the Korangi Road and chanted slogans.

The protest was ended after the police assured the protesters of smooth supply of power.

It is to be mentioned here that load-shedding has become a routine which has disturbed most of the areas of the country.
