KARACHI: The Caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh, Justice Zahid Kurban Alavi (Retd), along with members of his cabinet, visited the mausoleum of Quaid's Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Monday.
He laid floral wreath, offered Fateha and also recorded impressions in the Visitors' Book.
Talking to media persons on the occasion, the Caretaker Chief Minister said that for the holding of fair, free and transparent elections, full cooperation would be extended to the Election Commission.
He said that a substantial amount has been released for the clearance of dues of the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC).
Caretaker Chief Minister said that he would do his best during the interim period to deliver. However, he would not make any tall claims.
He said that the maintenance of law and order would be his top priority.
Steps would also be undertaken towards overcoming the energy crisis.
Justice Alavi (Retd) further stated that the process of cleanliness in the metropolis has been initiated.
