Analyst Hassan Askari welcomes selection of Punjab caretaker CM

ISLAMABAD: Renowned political analyst Hassan Askari has said that smooth transition of power from elected governments to caretaker governments is very good development in democratic history of the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, he termed the selection of Najam Sethi as caretaker CM Punjab at the level of provincial assembly committee level a good omen for the province. He expressed the hope that in the light of vast experience, he will succeed to hold fair and free elections in the province, besides giving good governance to the people of Punjab.

Askari said the political forces should resolve the political issues themselves.
