LAHORE: A large number of applications are being received by the MQM central Punjab Secretariat for party tickets for the general elections.
Senior vice president MQM Central Punjab Qazi Muteen Advocate told APP here on Wednesday.
He said the MQM leadership in central Punjab had also been interviewing candidates for party ticket.
He said those candidates were interviewed to whom the district organizations of the MQM were recommending as potential candidates.
About former president Pervaiz Musharraf's arrival in Karachi, he said any decision in this regard would be taken by the Rabita Committee of the MQM.
