KABUL: At least nine civilians were killed on Saturday by a suicide bomber in central Kabul during a visit to the Afghan capital by US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, police said.
"We have got nine dead, all are civilians -- among the 10 wounded, two or three are personnel of the (Afghan) ministry of defence," Kabul deputy police chief Mohammed Daoud Amin told AFP.
