Polio case surfaces in Bannu

BANNU: The second case of attack of polio virus in one-year-old boy was confirmed in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to National Institute of Health this was the second case of polio virus detection in year 2013 as the first such case was reported in Karachi.

In Gul Hussain village of Bannu, polio virus attacked one-year-old, Muzaakir son of Asmat Ali. Muzaakir's father had reportedly refused to administer polio drops to his son.
