Businesses resume in Punjab, with amended working hours
- According to the notification, poultry and meat shops will be open all week from 9 am to 7 pm, while dairy shops and bakeries will have to comply with all SOPs.
Markets and shopping malls have reopened from today in Punjab after a two-day closure, with amended working hours for various businesses.
In the light of the recommendations of the provincial cabinet, a notification has been issued by Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care Punjab Captain (Retd) Muhammad Usman, under which bakeries and dairy shops will remain open 24 hours a week.
According to the notification, poultry and meat shops will be open all week from 9 am to 7 pm, while dairy shops and bakeries will have to comply with all SOPs.
The Secretary Primary and Secondary Health said that the notification would remain in force until further orders and all businessmen should help the government by adopting a responsible attitude.
It should be noted that the government has given conditional permission to open business during coronavirus lockdown, which is open till 7 pm.
