The flour crisis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has intensified again, with the price of a 20kg bag of flour rising by Rs300 and an 85kg sack by Rs900.

As per details, the flour crisis in the province has resurfaced, with the rate of 20kg bag of flour has been raised from Rs800 to Rs1,100, whereas the rate of 85kg sack of flour is being sold Rs5,000 jumping from the previous rate of Rs4,100.

According to flour dealers, mill owners in Punjab are not supplying flour to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as per quota. On the other hand, illegal check posts have been set up at places of supply where extortion is levied.

Citizens blamed the government for the high price of flour. According to the citizens, the government has not been able to manage anything due to which inflation is rampant everywhere.

According to vendors, if this situation continues, the price of flour may go up further in the next few days.
