      <title>3.8 percent drop in futures open interest</title>

&lt;p&gt;&lt;center&gt;&lt;b&gt;RECORDER REPORT&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/center&gt;&lt;br /&gt;KARACHI: The total open interest position at the futures counter decreased by 3.8 percent on week-on-week basis to Rs 1,387 million. On the other hand, the future spreads also declined by 162bps on week-on-week basis to 2.89 percent. Trading activities at the futures counter improved and the average daily volumes increased by 137 percent on week-on-week basis to 6.8 million shares.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The top 5 scrips at the futures counter, constituting 68 percent of the total open interest, were POL, FFC, Engro, PSO and NBP.&lt;/p&gt;
