      <title>Declaration on Earth Hour City</title>

&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;A City District Government Karachi (CDGK) official said that the EDO Municipal Services, Masood Alam, and DG EPA Naeem Ahmed Mughal, signed the declaration on behalf of CDGK and Government of Sindh.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;On this occasion, EDO Municipal Services Masood Alam said that the citizens of Karachi are quite responsible and declaring Karachi an earth hour city, is meant to show our sincerity towards the goal of global event.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;On the occasion, the DG EPA also reciprocated the same feelings.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;It was further stated that Earth Hour is a global event organized by World Wide Fund for Nature and is held on last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.&lt;/p&gt;
