      <title>5300 Pakistanis evacuated from Libya: Ambassador</title>

      <description>&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;&lt;img style="margin-right: 10px; float: left;" src="https://i.brecorder.com/images/stories/undefined/libya_pak_400.jpg" width="400" height="266" /&gt;ISLAMABAD: Acting Pakistani Ambassador to Libya Ali Javed on Tuesday said that at least 5300 Pakistanis have been evacuated from Libya and no countrymen is affected in the unrest so far.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Talking to PTV, he said that the Pakistani Embassy is trying its utmost to evacuate the remaining expatriates from Libya.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;To a question, he said that the embassy is collecting data to adopt safety measures for the safe evacuation of all the Pakistanis by different means after the establishment of no-fly zone in Libya.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;He said, no Pakistani has been killed or injured and no one has come under any sort of attack during the war in Libya.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Ali Javed said that the Government of Pakistan had sent seven PIA jumbo jets to Tripoli, during March 6 to 17 to ecacuate its nationals.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;He said that the Pakistanis living and working in Libya had contacted the embassy and requested that they wanted to return home.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;He said the government's first priority is the welfare of all the Pakistanis in Libya and the Pakistani Embassy in Egypt has been directed to help the evacuated Pakistanis.&lt;/p&gt;
