      <title>China shares higher in morning trade</title>

&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was up 3.30 points at 2,912.44.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Global oil prices rallied Monday in the aftermath of Western air strikes on Libya and heightened turmoil in Yemen, both oil exporters.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The Shanghai A-share index rose 0.11 percent, or 3.44 points, to 3,049.42 while the Shenzhen A-share index was down 0.06 percent, or 0.83 points, at 1,344.97.&lt;/p&gt;
