&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;President Asif Ali Zardari, who attained the rare distinction of becoming the first democratically elected head of State in the country’s history to address joint sitting of the parliament for the fourth consecutive year, will take the nation into confidence about the challenges the country was facing and the strategy to tackle these.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The President’s speech would highlight achievements of the PPP-led ruling coalition, the economic turn around, dividends of pursuing the policy of political reconciliation, strengthening of democracy, restoration of the 1973 Constitution to its original spirit and the unanimous passage of 18th and 19th amendments.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The President’s address would be telecast live by Pakistan Television and private channels from the Parliament House Building. The address is scheduled for 1600 hrs PST.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;President Zardari earlier addressed the Parliament on September 20, 2008, March 28, 2009 and on April 5, 2010.&lt;/p&gt;
