Johansson claims her beauty sometimes hinders her work

KARACHI: Scarlett Johansson is considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the world. However, the 27-year-old actress feels her beauty has often hindered her commercial success.

"That has happened to me before, yeah. That's always an unfortunate thing to figure out, 'Why can't you see?!' For me, I would imagine when casting someone, you would want to challenge yourself in some way. It is so interesting to see actors transform. There are certainly plenty of times when I am definitely not sexy,’ she said when discussing lost roles. 

Johansson works hard to maintain a slender figure but claims she is not as strict as other Hollywood actresses. Though she avoids meat and dairy products for her figure, she casually indulges in a few glasses of wine every now and then.

"I live a relatively healthy lifestyle, I think. I'm not overly strict. I like to go out and enjoy myself and drink a couple of glasses of wine and stay out late occasionally and eat a slice of cake,” admitted the ‘Black Widow.’

”I work out and eat well most of the time and try to get some rest. [I eat] lots of kale. I try to stay away from meat and dairy and foods like that."

Johansson recently became the highest grossing actress in Hollywood, as a whopping £13 million was offered to the American actress for the sequel of Avengers.
