Leonardo DiCaprio partners with Fisker Automotive

Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio has become an equity investor in auto-manufacturing endeavor Fisker Automotive, to support his charity the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation.

DiCaprio, last year became the first recipient of the 2012 Fisker Karma, which is one of the most prominent environmentally-friendly vehicles in the market today. Now the movie hunk is partnering with the luxurious hybrid brand.

According to media sources, DiCaprio said: "My foundation supports efforts to secure a sustainable future for our planet and all its inhabitants. I am delighted to be working with Fisker Automotive to promote this shared vision."

Justin Bieber is also a proud owner of Fisker cars. Hollywood heartthrob DiCaprio established his non-profit organization in 1998 to care for the environment and encourage wildlife protection and forest preservation.
