      <title>Pakistan Feb trade deficit $895m vs $1.11bn in Jan</title>

&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The trade deficit was $1.11 billion in January.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Exports totalled $2.15 billion in February, against $1.51 billion a year ago, according to the bureau.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Imports totalled $3.05 billion, up from $2.50 billion in February last year.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The country's trade deficit for the first eight months of the 2010/11 fiscal year (July-June) was $10.26 billion, compared with a $9.51 billion deficit in the same period a year earlier.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Pakistan's consumer price index (CPI) rose 12.91 percent in February from a year ago, the Federal Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The CPI was down 0.74 percent from January.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The wholesale price index (WPI) rose 24.43 percent in February from a year earlier, and 1.87 percent over January, according to the bureau. February's 12.91 percent rise in the CPI compared with a median forecast among analysts in a Reuters poll of 14.10 percent.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;An increase in fuel prices this month will be incorporated in the inflation data from March.&lt;/p&gt;
