HYDERABAD: Senior Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq said that no nation can achieve success without education and the present government has initiated number of steps to provide quality education to future generation by improving the performance of education institutions of the province.
The minister said this during a surprise visits to Government Boys High School, Middle School and Girls Primary School of Unnarpur of Jamshoro district on Thursday.
The minister said that strict action against the ghost teachers, appointment of thousands of more teachers and upgrading of the infrastructure were the major steps which taken by the government since last for years for ensuring quality education to the future generation of the province.
He said that the government is resolving all genuine demands in order to remove all bottlenecks on way of the provision of quality education in the public sector educational institutions of the province.
The minister called upon the heads of the educational institutions to ensure attendance of students in their respective institutions and in this direction, they should hold regular meeting with the parents so that required task of quality education could be achieved.
During the visit of classrooms of these schools, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq also asked question from the students and gave cash prizes to those who gave correct answers.
The school managements apprised him about the lack of facilities in their respective institutions upon which, the minister assured the provision of all required facilities.
