      <title>Japan quake may cause tsunami at Pakistani coastal areas</title>

      <description>&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;&lt;img style="margin-right: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; float: left;" src="https://i.brecorder.com/images/stories/pics2011/mar/EARTH_400_400.jpg" width="400" height="387" /&gt;KARACHI: The National Tsunami Warning Center of Pakistan has warned that an earthquake recorded with a magnitude of 7.3 near the East Coast of Honshu, Japan, on Wednesday morning holds the potential to guarantee local tsunami.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;It is not known that a tsunami has been generated as yet, said the Duty Seismologist at the NTWC of the Meteorological Department.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The Tsunami Watch Bulletin released by the NTWC, he said was based on the earthquake evaluation and on the basis of historical data the earthquake could create widespread impact.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoPlainText"&gt;The earthquake had a depth of 70 Km, with Latitude 38.59 North and Longitude 142.91 East.&lt;/p&gt;
