      <title>LHC discards two petitions regarding Raymond Davis</title>

      <description>&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;img style="margin-right: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; float: left;" src="https://i.brecorder.com/images/stories/pics2011/raymond-davis.jpg" width="400" height="300" /&gt;LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday discarded two petitions regarding US operative Raymond Davis, &lt;i&gt;AAJ TV reported.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;i&gt;One petition requested the court to prevent Davis’ immunity issue from being heard in the International Court of Justice (ICJ).&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;i&gt;Meanwhile, the second petition requested the court to make the United   States of America a party in the Davis immunity case.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;i&gt;Petitioner Advocate Azhar Siddique had filed both petitions.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;i&gt;LHC Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry discarded both petitions and stated these issues were beyond the court’s jurisdiction.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
