Official sources in political administration informed that a convoy of the Khasadar Force was moving from Bara to Dogra post for duty, when it reached at Alamgod they were ambushed by unidentified gunmen.

As a result, Khasadar Force officials including Noor Janan, Mehrab, Abdul Waheed, Umar, Jamshed and levy official Shah Por were killed instantly and three others sustained injuries.

The injured were shifted to hospital. Assistant Political Agent Bara, Abdul Hadi and other senior officers rushed to the spot.

The security forces cordoned off the area and started search operation. The Bara administrator later on behalf of the Political Agent Khyber Agency, distributed one lakh rupees each among heirs of the deceased and fifty thousand rupees for each of the injured.
