Inquiry against Sharjeel Memon in assets case converted into investigation

KARACHI: Regional Board meeting of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi held here on Monday which converted inquiry into investigation against Sharjeel Memon on the allegation of Assets beyond his means.

The board meeting also decided to send a reference to NAB Headquarters for approval against Officers of Sindh Provincial Cooperation Department and others on allegation of illegal auctions of properties of Sindh Provincial Cooperative Bank Ltd. and misappropriation of the proceeds of auction of Sindh Provincial Cooperative Bank.

The board also appreciated the performance of NAB Karachi on successful disposal of mega cases.
