FAISALABAD: One person was killed while 3 others sustained multiple injuries in a building collapse incident in the area of Ghulam Muhammad Abad police station on Monday.
Rescue 1122 told APP that old and redundant roof of a building in a power loom factory situated at Elahi Complex Factory Area Nishasta Chowk caved in during repair and construction work.
As a result, 4 persons were buried beneath the debris.
Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot and pulled out the victims from the debris but one Imran Ali (30) son of Ali Nawaz died on the spot and two persons Saleem (60) and Zafarullah (50) son of Habib Ullah were shifted to the Allied Hospital whereas first aid was provided to fourth victim Anwar (60) son of Faqeer Muhammad.
Area police also reached at the spot and started investigation by taking the body into their custody.
