NAB holds inspection of Govt wheat stock at flour mills in Ghotki

SUKKUR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB-Sukkur) inspected Government wheat stock kept at several flour mills in district Ghotki.

A press release issued here said that the inspection of the stock was carried out on complaints of illegal utilization of government wheat by some flour mills.

During the inspection it was found that few flour mills have replaced the old stock with fresh one without approval and payment to government.

It was also found that one of the flour mill has used 70,000 bags of government wheat which were stored at the wherehouse of the mill without any approval while some of the mills have utilized wheat stock and replaced the same with fresh wheat illegally.
