ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing of case regarding seniority of police officers till the end of summer vacations.

A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmed and comprising Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Maqbool Baqar, heard the case, filed by different police officers regarding their service and promotion.

During the course of proceedings, the court accepted all the applications and adjourned the hearing without any proceedings.

The bench made it clear that the court would hear the case after end of summer vacations.
