President Alvi briefed on development projects in Sindh

KARACHI: President Dr Arif Alvi was briefed here on Monday about the progress of the projects being undertaken under the Sindh Infrastructure Development Company.

The President was informed at a briefing at the Governor House that Karachi Infrastructure Development Company's scope has been expanded and it has been upgraded as the Sindh Infrastructure Development Company.

Sindh Infrastructure Development Company Chairman Samar Ali Khan, Federal Secretary Naveed Kamran Baloch, board members Adnan and others were also present.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail told the President that under the Sindh Infrastructure Development Company, federal government's projects in the province would be undertaken and new schemes would also be presented.

Imran Ismail apprised the President that Karachi's Green Line bus service would be opened for public very soon. He said the Green Line project would provide comfortable and cost effective modern bus service.

The Governor said the Green Line project would further augment social and cultural activities and help address traffic problems in the city.
