ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday said the government of Tehreek-e-Insaf fully believed in freedom of expression and independence of the media.
This she said in a meeting with President Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari who called on her in Lahore.
She said that the impression of deadlock between the media and the government will be ended soon. She said that government of PTI would take media and all press clubs along. She assured that all necessary steps will be taken for the welfare of journalists’ community.
