221 Police teams deployed for security of polio workers

DIR LOWER: District police has deployed 221 police teams to provide security to polio vaccination workers who were engaged in three-day anti-polio campaign, police said here on Monday.

According to details, 84 police teams under supervision of Incharge Akbar Ali Khan from Och Police Station, 94 from Chakdara Police Station supervised by Incharge Gul Rehman Khan and 43 police teams have deployed from Asbanr Police Station under Incharge Nawaz Khan.

Police said that strong coordination have been established among the concerned security quarters to make entire campaign a complete success by providing foolproof security to polio vaccination teams.
