KARACHI: New Karachi Industrial Area (NKIA) police Tuesday during patrolling arrested four street criminals and recovered arms and looted money from them.

The arrested accused were identified as Shah Zaib @ Shanu S/O Shakil Ahmed,  Abdul Hadi S/O Ayaz Ahmed, Junaid S/O Khalid, and Abdul Rehman @ Haris S/O M Irfan.

Police recovered four TT pistols and 15 rounds, two bikes including one stolen motorbike, 6 cell phones and looted cash from their possession.

FIRs numbers 169 /2019 to 172/2019 U/S 23(1)/A SAA were registered against them and probe began.

During initial interrogation the accused confessed their involvement in several offences of street crime & shop robberies in districts Central & West.
