ISLAMABAD: Heavy rain coupled with thunderstorm lashed different areas of Punjab claimed a life and injured 17 others.
According to details, a man was killed and seven injured after roof of a house collapsed in Shadbagh area of Lahore.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar also took notice of the incidents and has directed the concern departments to expedite relief work following the rain-related incidents that caused loss of lives and property.
Weather turned pleasant because of light and heavy rains in several districts of Punjab including Lahore, Vehari and others a private news channel reported.
In the wake of rains, routine life was severely disrupted in Khanewal, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Chistian and Mian Chunnu.
The travellers were advised by the administration to remain attentive during journey.
