PIA privatisation: Lodhi hails Supreme Court's notice

Pakistan Awami Tehreek-e-Inqilab (PATI) Chairman Professor Aftab Lodhi has welcomed the Supreme Court's notice on PIA's privatization. Talking to journalists, Professor Aftab Lodhi said that the national flag carrier PIA and Steel Mills were being sold out due to inefficient and corrupt administration and there was no possibility of improvement. He said that loans were mounting at a rapid rate while development projects yielding major kickbacks were underway. He requested the Honourable Supreme Court to impose economic emergency to reclaim all national wealth in foreign banks.
