Peshawar district government to establish darkroom for tetanus-affected children
District government Peshawar has decided to establish a special darkroom for tetanus affected children in Sifwat Ghayyur Children Hospital and also a baby burn centre for congenital disease. This was announced during the visit of District Nazim, Peshawar, Mohammad Asim Khan's visit to the lone children diseases specific Sifwat Ghayyur Hospital, here on Friday.
Chairman Health Committee, District Council, Shamsul Bari, concerned District Council Member, Malik Aman, Town Council Member, Haji Saeed, Neighbourhood Nazim, Malik Shah Nawaz and others also accompanied him during the visit. During the visit, the district nazim inspected different wards of the hospital and also collected first-hand information about the facilities provided to the patients.
Furthermore, he also inspected the recently established special control room for the security and monitoring of the staff of the hospital and also checked the attendance of employees through the CCTV cameras. Briefing the district nazim, the medical superintendent of the hospital told that after the installation of CCTV cameras the monitoring of the staff has become easy while uninterrupted facilities are being provided to the patients by utilizing the funds released in this regard.
On the demand of the administration of hospital, the district nazim announced the establishment of a special darkroom for the provision of better treatment facilities to the tetanus affected children and directed the sub-engineer for the preparation of a report within a period of three days.
