Supreme Court Saturday asked a number of media persons to appear before a three-member bench of Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar in the Zainab murder case which is fixed for hearing today (Sunday) at Lahore Registry. The bench will resume hearing of a suo motu notice about heinous crime of murder of a minor girl Zainab in Kasur for which notices have been issued to Hameed Haroon, Mir Shakeelur Rehman, Rameeza Majid Nizami, Fahad Hussain, IA Rehman, Muneebur Rehman Shami, Kamran Khan, Kashif Abbasi, Hamid Mir, Mian Amir Mehmood (PBA), Sarmad Ali (APNS) and Zia Shahid (CPNE).
Earlier, the Supreme Court while fixing the matter for hearing at Lahore Registry for Sunday (today) before a three-member bench of Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar issued directives to Shahid Masood, Asma Hamid, Additional Advocate General Punjab, Inspector General Punjab, Inspector General Prisons Punjab, Abu Bakar Khuda Bakhsh, DIG Investigation Punjab Dr Naeem, Child Specialist Dr Muhammad Ashraf Tahir and DG Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) to appear before the court.
