Punjab Government's educational reforms have helped to achieve 100 percent enrolment in the province. Educational reforms of the Punjab province have emerged as the best and positive example of education-promotion in the entire Asia. Punjab education department got tremendous achievements in promoting education through international partnerships and educational programs have been appreciated worldwide due to their effectiveness.
The Schools Education Minister Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan said this while addressing Education World Forum which held in London here on Tuesday. Education World Forum was organized by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Department for Education, the Department for International Trade, the Department for International Development and the British Council. The aim of the Education World Forum was to review the experiences of the education system in the world.
The Schools Education Minister said that provision of education to every child is our top priority since 2008 adding that education is helpful in eliminating unemployment, extremism and intolerance in the society.Provincial Minister Rana Mashood said that early childhood education classrooms been developed in thousands of primary schools in different districts of the province to provide quality education in child-friendly atmosphere. He said that students are getting quality education in double shifts in more than two thousand public schools of the province. As many as three thousand schools have been upgraded as well and minimum strength of teachers in every primary school is four.
