The Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday launched first employment exchange programme to connect people with the employment opportunities created under the CPEC project. With a view to put plan into reality, collaboration has been made with the Rozee.pk which is fully operational in the Chinese, Urdu and English languages to facilitate all participants. A ceremony in this regard was held at the PCJCCI Secretariat that was also attended by Chief Executive Officer Rozee.pk, Monis Rahman, Wang Zihai, Dr Iqbal Qureshi, Moazzam Ghurki, M Salahuddin Hanif, Liu also participated in ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, PCJCCI President S M Naveed said the collaboration between the two organizations takes advantage of the latest online and mobile technologies to unlock over seven million highly skilled Pakistani professionals across all sectors of industry. He said that thousands of jobs would be created for Pakistanis and Chinese businesses will be able to execute quickly with the best that Pakistan has to offer," he added. The PCJCCI since its inception is endeavouring to devise effective programmes to overcome language and cultural barriers, the successfully accomplished projects of PCJCCI including publication of first-ever Chinese to Urdu and English dictionary, publication of Chinese language book, cultural youth exchange summer camp programmes, academic scholarship programme, Chinese language teaching programme, teaching resource exchange programme, technical training programme and literature exchange programme, he maintained.
Wang Zihai, Chairman China Affairs Committee of the PCJCCI, said that platforms like PCJCCI which are promoting and facilitating common masses to benefit from the present opportunities are the great contributors of growth in currently growing relations between China and Pakistan. The people comprehending this crucial need of time must be regarded as the real mentors, he added. Rozee.pk Chief Executive Officer Monis Rehman said that the collaboration between PCJJCCI and Rozee.pk is solely for the empowerment of young talented Pakistani people who are consistently in search of bright opportunities.
He said that massive Chinese investment has created a window of opportunity in Pakistan and specialized organizations should indulge themselves for preparing comprehensive and professional work plans to benefit from those opportunities.
