Pakistan People's Party (PPP) will hold a public rally at Mochi Gate to mark Kashmir Day on February 5. Co-chairman PPP Asif Zardari took this decision in a meeting with PPP Punjab delegation. President PPP Punjab Qamar Zaman Kaira led the delegation.
PPP leadership will address the rally to express solidarity with Kashmiri people. Zardari directed the party to start preparations for the rally. He said PPP would salute the Kashmiris' struggle for independence. India is committing atrocities against Kashmiris and there is a need to shake the conscience of international community, he added.
He also vowed to retaliate in the same coin to Indian aggression on the Line of Control, which is a violation of the international law. All such intrigues would be responded befittingly, he added. He said Pakistan has always stood with the Kashmir cause and would continue its moral and diplomatic support. He urged the UN to play its role in stopping India from committing atrocities against Kashmiris.
