With immense pleasure I would like to congratulate all officers and staff of Sindh Enterprise Development Fund, Sind Board of Investment, Agriculture and Livestock Department Government of Sindh for organising 6th edition of Livestock Dairy Fisheries Agriculture Exhibition and Seminar 2016 at Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam.
The world has been awakened on the matters of poverty, hunger, food insecurity and climate change, and the fast increasing population in the world. Development of agriculture sector is inevitable for sustainable economic growth.
We all are aware that a large proportion of Pakistan's and Sindh's Economy is directly and indirectly linked with the agriculture sector. It provides 40% of employment to our labor force and contributes 24% in GDP of the country. Sindh has got great potential for growth in agri-sector and to exploit these potentials event like LDFA-2017 is a unique platform for all the stakeholders to interact and share ideas for mutual benefits.
I would like to congratulate all the participants, visiting delegates and exhibitors for being a part of such an event and hope that they will extract maximum benefits from LDFA-2016. I hope Sindh Enterprise Development Fund in collaboration with other associated partners, will continue the tradition of conducting/organising such a wonderful event and my best wishes/praises are with management of the event.
