Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department (WL&PD) Director General Khalid Ayyaz Khan has directed the regional officers of the department to ensure utilisation of the annual development funds (ADF) by completing schemes at the earliest going on under Annual Development Programme.
He also asked them to continue to liaise with the courts to follow the cases for resolution of pending enquiries.
Khalid Ayyaz Khan was presiding over a special meeting here on Friday to review the utilisation of annual development fund, enquiry cases and matters pertaining to promotion of employees of the department.
DG Punjab Wildlife & Parks warned that strict departmental action would be taken against those who failed to utilise the annual development fund. He called upon the officers to change their method of working and work on development schemes on priority basis.
He also constituted a committee comprising Deputy Director Wildlife Lahore/Sahiwal Hassan Ali Sukhera, Deputy Director Planning Mian Hafeez Ahmad and Superintendent Accounts Sheikh Tahir. The committee will meet on weekly basis and submit a report to the DG regarding implementation on annual development programme and utilisation of funds.
Khalid Ayyaz Khan also asked the officers to submit a provincial disaster response within next four days to the head office so as to review it and could be finalized if found feasible.
The meeting was attended by Honorary Game Warden Punjab Shah Rukh Butt, Deputy Director Wildlife Muhammad Naeem Bhatti, Deputy Director Publicity Aamir Masud and officers from different districts.
